Flying Squirrel
Flying squirrel is modified for arboreal and Volant adaptations. It’s body is covered with brown fur for keeping constant temperature to the environment. Flying squirrel has four equal sizwd limbs and tail including a leathery furry skin fold called patagia, modified for gliding from tree to tree. There are two pairs of pectoral mammae and only one young is born at a time. They are herbivorous, frugivorous in habits and nocturnal in nature. Flying squirrel tail is invariably large and bushy. The testes are scrotal and penis is pendulus.
